Ascend Performance provides endurance coaching services for all ages and abilities with a focus on the sport and fitness goals of the athlete. The goals of Ascend Performance is to nurture athletes to reach one’s own fitness/athletic performance goals. Everyone’s lives are busy, and it is our interest to help those of you to cater your training around your personal lives to be the person and athlete that you desire to be. Whether you’re looking to qualify for world championships or complete your very first triathlon, Ascend Performance would like to help you reach your goals.

Coach Reece Linder

Coach Reece Linder is a USA cycling and triathlon coach residing in Madison, WI. Reece received a B.S. in Kinesiology and Health while racing with and coaching the Triathlon Club at Iowa State University. Reece began coaching in 2018 with the conception of Ascend Performance. Since 2018, Reece has guided athletes of all ability levels to their endurance goals ranging from the completion of one’s first sprint triathlon up to nationally ranked triathletes including the USA Triathlon Junior Triathlete of the Year (2021). thumbnail_IMG_5360 Reece specializes in swim/run form analysis, sports psychology, and team building. During his career as a triathlete, Reece raced for the junior triathlon team of Z3 and the Iowa State Triathlon Club. After switching to cycling, Reece raced for Ames Velo before signing with the domestic team Above and Beyond Cancer in 2020. Reece now enjoys challenging himself on bike packing trips and local group rides.
